Buenos Aires FROM THE GREAT CITY TO THE HEART OF THE PAMPAS .
Just a few miles away from the hectic life and magnificence of the great cosmopolitan city of Buenos Aires , lays the endless vastness of the Pampas : Buenos Aires province. Its varied nature, its rich fields and traditional population are harmoniously merged in its peaceful and great surfaces where hospitality and the quiet and nice lifestyle allow for the discovery of this land true and authentic identity.
Vast. It has an area of 307,571 square kilometres representing 11% of Argentina surface. It is the second province in the country in size. To cross it from north to south means to cover 892 km, and from east to west, about 600 km. This province has 13.760.969 inhabitants representing 40% of Argentina population.
Varied. It has an awesome geography characterized by different landscapes: hundreds of kilometres of beaches on the Atlantic Ocean; a wide delta with entangled vegetation on the Paraná River outlet; two ranges of sierras raising against the horizon; lakes and rivers all over; cultivated fields; rural historical towns; urban centres with significant cultural life, industrial and business development; religious centres; provincial parks; wildlife reservations and protected areas.
Authentic. The melting of immigrants, mestizos and criollos (local people) gave birth to a particular culture, which is reflected and highlighted by customs, literature, music, popular celebrations, museums, monuments and crafts in every town and city in the province.
Stylish. This land is inhabited by people who celebrate eternal values such as friendship, freedom, solidarity and hospitality. Here, there is always time for conversations, family and friends' gatherings, a good asado or mate , shared and intimate communication.
Buenos Aires province is bounded in the north by Córdoba, La Pampa and Río Negro and in the south by Río Negro and the Argentine Sea . Most of the province has warm weather, being 15º C the annual average temperature. Spring and autumn are the rainiest seasons.
There is a significant network of accesses to the province, among them the most important are: Ministro Pistarini International Airport, main entrance to the country located in Ezeiza District just 30 km from the city of Buenos Aires; Mar del Plata, Don Torcuato, San Fernando, Bahía Blanca and Necochea Airports; Mar del Plata, Tigre, San Isidro, Olivos, La Plata, Quequén and Bahía Blanca ports and its 15,434 km of paved roads, two thirds of which are provincial roads and one third are national roads.
Buenos Aires is the place to experience vastness. It is worth visiting!
